Tourist trap- overpriced bland food- the only salad dressing is the oil and vinegar on the table even though they serve a number of salads- and don't bother asking for butter with the bread- they will tell you "sure", but they will not bring it.

The tip is automatic- even though tipping is not common in the UK... and they hide the warning in a description of a an appetizer... same font- no gap!

Sodas are about 5 pounds- and the prices aren't listed on the menu- and if you want tap water you'll have to buy a bottle of wine first- unbelievable.

When I complained to the manager he was unapologetic- obviously he preys on tourists and doesn't need any return business.

The food was OK, but other than that, i would have preferred Pizza Hut. We asked for water (tap water) and were told they could only give us water if we bought a bottle of wine. Of course we could also buy a bottle of water or soda.

We asked fro bread which they obliged, neglecting to tell us there was an additional charge.

They brought us a a large bowl of grated parmesan cheese and left us to help ourselves which is fine and all but what happens to the bowl after we've used it? I'm pretty sure they aren't going to dump it all so it will most likely get given to the next customer, ugh!!

The waiters were trying to take our plates even before we had finished our meal, very rude indeed.

We asked to speak to the manager, who looked like someone who was the dish washer and I didn't for a moment think he'd be the manager! (Kudos for pitching in i guess) Anyhow, he didn't care, we mentioend the bread and charge for it and his reply was that "Italians don't eat bread with their food" and "well we have to pay for it." Well, Italians may not eat bread with their meals but first of all, we're not in Italy, this is not an authentic Italian restaurant and yes you may pay for the bread but I'm sure you recoup the cost of a loaf many times over. Why not just add the extra into the price of a meal and say it comes with bread. Or even, just tell us BEFORE hand, there will be a charge.

This if the first restaurant I've been to in a very long time where I actually felt cheated after walking out of the door.

If I can save one person the sad experience of this restaurant, it will be worth it!
